For more than 25 years, Égale Action has been working to advance equity and equality for girls and women in sport by supporting a more inclusive and accessible sport system in Québec. Through education, training, resources, and support for athletes, coaches, leaders, and sport organizations, Égal Action helps create environments where women and girls can fully participate, develop their potential, and take on leadership roles in sport.
At Pixelle, we believe that every sporting journey deserves to be recognized and celebrated. Like Égale Action, we are committed to amplifying the voices and experiences of girls and women in sport and highlighting the moments that inspire confidence, resilience, and achievement.
Pixelle invites girls and women to share a photograph from the beginning of their sporting journey. Each photo becomes a single pixel in a series of large-scale mosaic portraits celebrating inspiring professional female athletes. Together, hundreds of personal stories are transformed into powerful works of public art that showcase the dedication, diversity, and passion behind every athlete’s journey.
This partnership brings together two organizations with a shared mission: creating greater visibility for women in sport and inspiring the next generation to believe that they belong.
