As one of Canada’s premier tennis clubs, Nuns’ Island Tennis Club has inspired generations of players through its commitment to excellence, community, and the development of athletes of all ages. Their passion for growing the game and creating opportunities for young athletes aligns perfectly with Pixelle’s mission to celebrate girls and women in sport.
Through photography, storytelling, and public art, Pixelle is creating large-scale mosaic portraits of inspiring female athletes using hundreds of photos from the beginnings of girls’ and women’s sporting journeys. Every photo becomes a Pixelle, celebrating the idea that every champion starts somewhere.
We are proud to partner with Nuns’ Island Tennis Club as we prepare to unveil our first public installation in Montreal and continue building a global movement that celebrates the journeys of girls and women in sport.
